Some photos that say what discerning people think

(note as of 2-24-2015: I am no longer a Pirate Christian supporter.  On 9-2013 there was an update on the Ingrid/ChrisR situation - please go here:  Ingrid and Chris had reconciled.  This was a good thing.  We were all friends again.)

 Further update here:
I am no longer a Pirate Christian supporter.  Too much hypocrisy, too many double standards, too many false accusations. I apologize for all the confusion.  I pray it won't happen again.)

Some photos that say what discerning people opposed to the general public who tend to think the opposite.

I love Michael Horton.  I really do. I love to listen to the White Horse Inn.  But I do not love Lausanne because of its ecumenicism, and I do not like Acts 29.  I do not like Lausanne allowing women in ministry and saying that we can "agree to disagree" on that one.

Anyway, thought I would share some photos that have surfaced with new captions from friends the last few days.  I have heard numerous people who have no knowledge of the situation assume that Horton must be in agreement with Rick Warren based on this photo.  This is not unreasonable and people NEED to keep this in mind.  That is why we are warned in Scripture not to associate with one who calls himself brother but does not preach Christ or lives in open sin.

A picture from this morning from 5pt salt.

From an “outsiders” viewpoint (I don’t live in the USA, and I am sorry, but I have never read any of “Horton’s” articles)I think I can make a point here without any potential of being “blindsided”.
I saw the photo in question, and as a PDL refugee (where we have witnessed firsthand the anti-biblical teachings/methods etc), my first thought is that this person “Horton” must be in accord with what Rick Warren teaches/stands for – otherwise he would not have allowed himself to be photographed in this manner- so yes I would say he is compromised by association – as the details in the setting of the photo looks “well composed”!
If it was purely a snapshot of them walking across a carpark – that would be a different issue – and as an outsider I would not be having this reaction!
This is a WELL COMPOSED photos – with meaning behind the setting – that is what it looks like! I’ll call it how it looks!
SO again, using a quote which says it EXACTLY how it is, “It does not matter what accomplishments such pastors and teachers have achieved in their ministries of the past. What matters is what they have done with their part of the ministry entrusted to them now.”

A comment that was showed to me this morning:
Lucas: "The best way to benefit Warren's followers is to politely refuse to attend his gatherings. Those whose minds are still open will begin to wonder why strong orthodox teachers refuse to take part. When questions are asked, answers will be given to receptive minds."
Chris Rosebrough- @Lucas - Great strategy. You’re basically saying that our posture should be 'to hell with you' because your too stupid to know that Rick Warren is a false teacher. I'm so glad Dr. Rosenbladt didn’t take that posture with me whe...n I was steeped in legalism because then I’d still be heading to hell.
Sorry but I think Jesus has commissioned us to preach the gospel anywhere where people will listen. I seem to remember the Bible mentioning something about the Apostle Paul preaching the gospel on Mars Hill.
Thanks for showing your true colors.
Indeed Chris, Thanks.
