Well I commented on an anti-Bentley video put up by Innerdeed at youtube. He/she (I will use he for simplicity) wrote to me privately to ask me to redo my second comment because I used the word 'stupid' in it. I frankly don't even remember what I wrote but stupid is VERY tamed down from what Todd Bentley and his deluded followers deserve. So I said that i didn't have access to any post I submitted to his video (he has them!) so how can I know what I said, to redo it? His response was that "I know, you can't see what you submitted, because I have it." Well... that IS what I just said isn't it?
I also suggested that if he was uncomfortable with the use of the word STUPID in regard to false teaching he should probably stop reading the Bible. His brilliant comeback was "I do read the Bible, I shared Jude 8-9 with you."
I guess he hasn't read of Elijah taunting the prophets of Baal nor of Paul's often heavy use of sarcasm and harsh "I wish they would go all the way and emasculate themselves" -- said without apology to the Jewish Christians who were adding to the gospel by forcing circumcision on the gentile believers. And I told InnerDeed that Paul should be ashamed of himself for publicly humiliating Peter over this issue.
Robert Morey: (I edited out a few little comments that were only for color and elaboration, due to space. and yes, I know Morey seems to be surrounded by controversy about his 'ethics' - I honestly don't know what to make of those, but someone definitely has some kind of case they're trying to make against him)

Jesus Christ when he was confronted with false religious leaders SCORCHED them in public. And with the crowd roaring behind him, got the so ANGRY that they tried to assassinate him, and then finally they pulled it off and killed him. You have to ask yourself this question. If Jesus Christ was the Mr Goody Two Shoes, this little meek and mild "God bless you EVERYONE" sorta that kind of... WHO WOULD BOTHER TO CRUCIFY THAT?! Whatever Jesus you believe in has to be the kind of Jesus that got people SO ANGRY... they crucified him!

Some people think that it's wrong to ridicule, mock, or scorn false religions and false prophets. Indeed the only heresy that political correctness allows today is the heresy of calling anything else a heresy. The only heretics are those that are bold enough to call anything heresy. Political correctness teaches that it is the supreme evil to offend people by hurting their feelings.

Some guy who called in to his show believed himself to be Moses. (yeah not just the name, but the prophet) and Morey told him he would be put in a padded cell.
See you'd have some Christian call "(whimpering) you hurt his feelings because you told him he was nuts!" He was!... I remember counseling one time. I said "Lady, you're a monster. You are the wicked stepmother like in the Cinderella story." She had a stepchild. Three of her own, she married a man who had a daughter by a previous marriage. And she wanted to go to Disneyland but leave the stepdaughter behind because "she's not really my daughter." I says "You're a monster. You're the wicked stepmother and I rebuke you in the name of Jesus Christ."... she held that against me for years. The husband said "Thank God! I couldn't tell her, at least you told her!"

If we give heed to Scripture we will find the use of humor, ridicule, and scorn to mock false religion is a VIRTUE. Underline that. It's a virtue and not a vice. It is one of the works of God and Christ and was practiced by prophets and apostles. The church fathers hoh hoh! I love reading the church fathers, be it in the greek text of the apostolic fathers and later on of the antenaceans. If you don't [sic] think they didn't use humor and wit -- the rapier wit -- and the reformers!! oh ohh!! Have any of you seen the tracts that Luther put out? Such things as a huge pig with seven...I guess since it's a pig we can say uh... mammary glands... and the pig has the Pope's miter, and it says "this is the Catholic Church and the seven sacraments" and all the little piggies running around.

Turn with me to Psalm 2. Now remember what we're dealing with is this: Political correctness says if you ridicule, make light of, make fun of, mock, it's the use of argumentum ad ridiculum, et Latin. If you use argumentum ad ridiculum, you're 'in sin.' You must always be good and kind and sweet and never say anything critical.Let's take for example God. Let's take God. Psalm 2, it is one of my favorite Psalms, it is actually an opera. But look at verse 1 "why do the heathen rage and the peoples imagine a vain thing?" The Hebrew says "and the people imagine a STUPID thing. That's what the Hebrew says....But he who sits enthroned in the heavens SCORNFULLY LAUGHS at them.

He brings up some good verses illustrating righteous laughter, scorn, mocking:
Psalm 37:13; Psalm 59:8
He talks about how persecuted the prophets were -- sawed in half, thrown in septic sewers... when you read what God told them to say you will read INFLAMMATORY LANGUAGE
He goes on to elaborate on a few passages:
Jeremiah 10:8
Prov 1:25, 26
Psalm 52:6-7
1 Kings 18:27
Amos 4:1-2
and then goes on to talk about how inflammatory Jesus was toward snakes and hypocrites and false teachers of his day.

So InnerDeed, being the big reasonable and genteel person he is deleted my other post too, which he had no problem with. Hmm... a little passive aggressive behavior there? InnerDeed has passed judgement on God by saying none of his people should EVER behave the way God does toward unbelief and false teachers.
Whine whine whine... we should never make anyone feel stupid I guess even when they are BEING stupid. Thank the Lord he (and other people) have cared enough to make me feel "stupid" about my sin.
Thank you, Robert Morey for an excellent lecture.
